4 Quick Go-to Half Up Hairstyles to Keep Hair Out of Your Face
In this article, I am going to give you description on the doing method of 4 quick go-to half up hairstyles that gonna keep your hair out of your face. Before go in to the article, I want to give you a free advice that is before you start styling your hair, you should always use a heat and UV protective invisible oil or spray to protect your hair. You can get such oils online easily. You can use the product in damp hair or dry hair. Such oil is for dry to very dry hair in case you have highlighted your hair.
Things you need to style the below hairstyles:
- Hair spray
- Heat and UV protection oil
- Comb
- Curler
- Hair extensions(If needed)
- Bobby pins
- Eyebrow gel(In case you have much baby hair)
- Elastic band
Few common things that you need to do before styling all the 4 hairstyles below:
Step:1
The first thing you need to do is section your hair, spray it, comb it through, and then style it as normal. Since you are using a heat protective, it’s going to protect your hair when you curl it. With each section you need to spray it and combing it through to make sure that the oil is getting all throughout your hair. It would be better if you are curling all of your hair away from your face to get better look.
Step:2
You just need to twist the curls right after they get out of the iron. It will just helps form the curl and makes the curls last a little bit longer.
Step:3
You need to add in extensions of your exact same hair lengths. It just helps add a little bit of thickness to your hair but extensions are totally optional. If you are using extensions, you need to brush it out, so it blends together with your hair.
Step:4
Before start doing the hairstyles you need a little bit of volume on top. So you need to just back comb it, slightly hair spray it and just combing it through, so it gets little bit softer. This will help create a base of volume for all the hairstyles.
Below are your 4 Quick Go-to Half Up Hairstyles:
Quick Go-to Half Up Hairstyles#1
The first style is honestly so easy. You just need to take little bits of hair from the front top and just pin it up on the back. That’s it, you are done with your first hairstyle. It’s so easy but I just think it will be pretty if you use any eyebrow gel and smoothing down those crazy baby hairs that you have in the front.

Step:1
For the second style, you need to partition your hair from the center and then take a tiny section splitting it into three and you need to do a Dutch lace braid. For that you need to braid the outside pieces under the middle and then add in hair from the very front section. So you need to add hair to the front, cross it under the middle, cross the back under the middle without adding in hair, add hair to the front, cross it under the middle, and just add hair to the front. You just make sure your hands are going backwards so it lays flat.
Step:2
Take your first braid, stretch it across the back and my trick is to stick a bobby pin in the braid then pushing the bobby pin towards the braid. That is always super secure to keep the bobby pin stay on your hair and hold you braid. Then just do the same on the other side, push it going towards the braid, and that’s it you are done with your second hairstyle.

Step:1
Style number three is really a soft braid. For this one you’re gonna be pulling apart a section of hair and making it look all big and voluminous. So you need to take a little bit bigger section at my par, split into three and again you need to do a Dutch braid for this hairstyle too. You need to be adding pieces to the top and bottom, crossing them under the middle, make sure your hands are going back with your hair so the braid lays nicely when you pin it. Once the braid reaches just behind you ear, stop adding in hair and braid it all the way down and stick a bobby pin in the end to hold it. Then do the exact same thing on the opposite side.
Step:2
This is where the braid looks really pretty is when it gets pulled apart. So you need to pull it apart just on the very outer edges. Then you just drape it across the back, do the same bobby pin it towards the braid, and better use two bobby pins to make sure it’s secure. But you need to pin up the other braid right below the first one and then just combine the two braids so it looks like one big one. Once they’re secure, you need to pull on the top to give yourself more volume, just fluff out the braids even more and you are done.

Style number four is a little ponytail. Take just the top section of your hair and tie it with a clear elastic. Then take a tiny piece of hair from the back wrapping it around and bobby pin it underneath. Then smooth those baby hairs down and spray it with hairspray and that’s the final style.
